Step into the Realm of Legends!
Are you ready to bring magic to life? The MAX 2025 Body Painting Competition invites you to transform your model into a breathtaking Mythical Creature! From fiery dragons to celestial deities—push artistic boundaries and showcase your skills before an electrified audience.

Compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes, plus the coveted People’s Choice Award.
Teachers will automatically enter the Pro Category, ensuring fairness.

Competition Details:

Registration & Fees
• Entry Fee: $20 per painter (includes a light lunch and snacks).
• Solo & Team Entries: Compete individually or in a team of two.
• Pre-Registration Required: No day-of-event sign-ups—secure your spot in advance!

 Time Limit & Materials
• Painting Time: 6 hours (plus breaks for food and model relief).
• Body Coverage: Designs must meet the minimum coverage requirements (see diagram).

Approved Materials:
• FDA regulated safe cosmetic pigments body paints (brush, sponge, airbrush)
• Small embellishments (gems, glitter, lashes, limited 3D elements)
• Large glued-on pieces or masks will not count toward painted percentage.

Model Requirements
• Age: All models must be 18+ and sign a release form.
• Pre-Approval: If bringing your own model, they must submit a form in advance.
• Minimum Coverage:
    – Female models: Pasties & thong (or similar).
    – Male models: Shorts or underwear.

Competition Guidelines
• Your design must be inspired by the Mythical Creatures theme.
• Concept sketches are allowed, but all painting must be done live at the
competition—no pre-painted elements.
• Artists must stop painting when time is up and respect scheduled model breaks.

Judging & Awards
• Blind Judging: Artists will not be present during judging to ensure fairness.
• People’s Choice Award: Attendees will vote for their favorite design, with
voting conducted anonymously.
• Pro Category: Teachers will automatically be placed in the Pro Category for fairness.

Grounds for Disqualification
• Late arrival or disruptive behavior.
• Use of unsafe products.

Awards & Prizes
Winners will be announced at the MAX 2025 Awards Ceremony, with prizes for:

• Pro Category Winner
• Best Model Award
